I am a private person who tries to advocate for the older seriously mentally ill (SMI; those suffering schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe clinical depression). The most vulnerable and neglected Australians are a majority of the indigenous people and the seriously mentally ill; there are some 600,000 of the latter, only 50% of whom receive any specialist psychiatric care.

I thank your web site for all the help I’ve received for my submissions, letters to editors, members of Parliament et al. Your headings for health and indigenous population are the sections of most of interest for me. I sincerely hope you can continue with your weekly report. You give us the reports; it’s up to us to run with them.

Thank you for an outstanding site. I access it at least once a week and often more. I am the Convenor of the national Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) conference and it is great for regional Australia to so easily be able to tap into key thinking and expertise from across Australia.
