.
In a letter in the Sydney Morning Herald on Friday, July 15, Reverend Harry Herbert, the executive director of Uniting Care NSW, peddled emotive disinformation about the crisis in Australia's increasingly unaffordable out of home care (OOHC) system.
According to Reverend Herbert, policymakers should increase spending on 'more services' to support parents and prevent children being removed from the family home at large cost to state government budgets. He warns that unless governments stump up extra cash to fund organisations such as his own, we are at risk of creating another Stolen Generation of Indigenous children.
