Description

The Coalition is locked in talks with the Greens and One Nation to ensure its media reform bill passes the Senate.

The long-awaited bill is due for debate this week, and it can't come soon enough for the struggling TV network Channel Ten. If the bill passes, it will clear the way for Channel Ten's major shareholders, Lachlan Murdoch and Bruce Gordon, to take over the network.

Ten's funding is due to run out by the end of this month, but there are questions about the way it was placed into administration.
