Reviewing recent trends in wage income inequality in Australia

22 Jun 2005
Description

Peter Saunders finds that, after increasing during the period 1990-95, wage inequality has been broadly stable. Some low-income groups have, however, lost ground over that period.

This is one of a series of papers analysing the Howard government's proposed changes to Australia's industrial relations laws, written by seventeen academic researchers in the fields of industrial relations and labour market issues.
