Telcos facing increased complaints

The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman has released its annual report today. For the first time ever, complaints about internet services are higher than complaints about mobile phones.

The TIO says that its recorded more than 60,000 complaints about internet services — with nearly half of them relating to the rollout of the National Broadband Network.

Overall complaints about telco providers have increased by 41 per cent since last year.
