Networks, connections and community: learning with social software

26 Apr 2007
Description

New research into how technology is being used for knowledge sharing, capability development, and teaching and learning has been released.

Networks, connections and community: learning with social software was commissioned by the national training system's e-learning strategy, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework.

The research investigated how social software/Web 2.0 tools, such as blogs, wikis, social bookmarking and virtual conferencing, can best support teaching and learning in the vocational education and training (VET) system.

But it also looks at how social software tools are being used by organisations for capability development worldwide.
