This first annual report on the status of Victoria's children offers a high-level, yet comprehensive overview of the health, development, learning, safety and wellbeing of Victoria's children and young people, against the outcomes framework of 35 areas.

This report was published by the State Government of Victoria's Department of Human Services' Office for Children which has since been disbanded. It is now located with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
