A proposal for the establishment of an international judicial commission on refugees

Description

It is fundamental to the rule of law that like cases be treated alike. Yet, with hundreds of judges in tens of countries applying the law established in the Refugee Convention, there is considerable divergence in the way this universal law is applied. In this speech to a SCIGL conference Justice Tony North argues for a process to harmonise the interpretation of the Convention.
