Description

This project investigated the costs, benefits, risks and opportunities associated with implementing a national common school starting age. Following consideration of this report the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA) agreed to further examine a common minimum school starting age of 4 years 6 months including the educational and financial implications. Available in 3 parts the full title of the report is 'Cost/Benefit Analysis Relating to the Implementation of a Common School Starting Age and Associated Nomenclature by 1 January 2010'
