The study of RandD expenditure variation by Australian businesses

10 May 2007
Description

The study of R&D Expenditure Variation by Australian Businesses is based on longitudinal data of all 353 R&D Tax Concession firms that have performed R&D continuously for more than ten years, and reveals that most firms dramatically vary the amount they spend on R&D from year to year. This was true of both large and small firms, and across all sectors, for R&D intensity, as well as for equipment and staffing.
