David Lloyd


Professor David Lloyd is Vice Chancellor and President of the University of South Australia.
Since being appointed in 2012, Prof Lloyd has overseen the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan for the University and developed many international collaborations, including with University College London to form UniSA's ground-breaking Future Industries Institute, and with IT giant Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the South Australian Government to form the Innovation and Collaboration Centre which provides a unique multidisciplinary environment where SME entrepreneurs, students and academic innovators can work to grow their ideas. In 2014 Professor Lloyd was appointed to the South Australia Economic Development Board and in 2015 he was appointed Chair of the Australian Technology Network group of technology-focused universities.
