On International Volunteer Day APO gives thanks once again to the terrific volunteers who have graced our office this year. Volunteers have improved APO in a number of ways from fixing metadata, to uploading new research, writing new content, designing flyers and analysing site functionality.
In particular we thank:
India Mauritzen, Bachlor of Arts student, University of Melbourne:
Colin MacKay, Masters in Planning and Environment student, RMIT;
Monica La Macchia, Bachlor of Arts student, University of Melbourne;
Alice Wormald, Information Management student, Charles Sturt University;

Jonathan Perdikaris, Law student, La Trobe University;
Laura Garland, Graduate Diploma in Information Management student, RMIT University;

They have all made a terrific contribution to the APO digital library and infrastructure and served the public interest and what is now a UN Sustainable Development Goal - Access to Information
And we hope they have also learnt lots of new skills and understanding about team work, digital information management and the dynamic world of public policy research and practice.
If you would like to volunteer - all ages, and levels of experience welcome although we do require a willingness to be or learn to be digital! - or undertake a research project or internship at APO please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
