APO News

Thanks for a great 2016 from all at APO

.

2016 has been a big year for APO and we would like to take the opportunity to give a huge thank you to all our readers, authors, contributors, publishers and content sources, advertisers, collection partners and sponsoring organisations and collaborators. In particular we would like to thank the Australian Research Council and the Australian National Data Service for infrastructure grants provided this year and our major partners Swinburne University of Technology, the University of South Australia, RMIT University, the University of Canberra, the Henry Halloran Trust, Victoria University of Wellington, and ANZSOG for their continued support.

This year we have launched 10 new collections, posted over 4000 resources, had 1145 new contributors register to the site, developed a new linked database structure and commissioned a new visual design and logo (to be launched early next year), expanded to 11 staff (many part-time) across two countries, hosted interns and benefitted from the generous contribution of volunteers.

2017 is our 15 year anniversary and we are looking forward to celebrating with all the friends of APO across Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Our door is always open so we look forward to working with you again in 2017 and wish you all best wishes for the festive season and a happy new year.

For a detailed report on our activities for the year read our annual review and for updates subscribe to our new APO News monthly email newsletter which will be starting in 2017.
