The Graduate Diploma in Public Policy is offered at the Hobart campus and by distance. It is normally a 1 academic year (or 2 semesters) full-time or up to 2 years (or 4 semesters) part-time program. Students may enrol for semester 1 or semester 2 entry.
The GradDipPubPol aims to provide a quality tertiary qualification at the postgraduate level in a professional coursework program. The course aims to provide students with:
- a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of public policy;
- skills to engage in informed debate about major public policy issues in contemporary society;
- knowledge of recent developments in the field;
- skills to conduct and appraise research critically.
