Impacts of Privatisation - Research Study Participants Wanted

04 May 2010Postgraduate DBA student is currently undertaking a research project titled: How does Privatisation shape the Australian Economy? A reflection on the social, environmental and economic impacts
over the period 1980 to 2020

I am a post-graduate student at the University of Newcastle undertaking the Doctorate of Business Administration course. My research project will examine how privatisation shapes the economy through its effect on social, environmental and economic indicators. The study will assess historical privatisation initiatives implemented post 1980 and also examine potential future impacts of proposed initiatives through to the year 2020.

The project will utilise the Delphi Research Method which is a systematic consultation method that relies on a panel of subject matter experts.

I am currently seeking participants with a background in Politics, Academia or Business who would be interested in acting as a panel member for this project.

At this stage I am currently seeking expressions of interest to participate. It is expected that the first round of interviews will be performed in June 2010.  An appropriate incentive for participation will be offered to selected panel members.

Should you be interested in participating and assisting with my post-graduate studies, it would be much appreciated if you could register your interest by sending an email by 4 June 2010 to mark.donovan@uon.edu.au or by calling (02) 8266 4749
