Wireless connectivity survey

18 June 2010The Smart Services CRC is investigating Australians' use of wireless connectivity via mobile phones, laptops and other devices.

People who would like to participate in the study must either access the internet via:

  • mobile broadband - using a USB ‘dongle’ or datacard in your computer to connect to the Internet
  • mobile Internet - using your mobile phone or iPad/tablet to connect to the Internet (3G)
  • Wi-Fi – usually available in public spaces like cafés, airports, workplaces, and places of study

The first stage of this study is an online questionnaire open to all Australians over the age of 18. The questionnaire can be accessed at Opinio Online (http://opinio.online.swin.edu.au/s?s=8062).

The second stage is interviews with Australians who use wireless connectivity.
