The annual Horizon Report seeks to identify and describe emerging technologies likely to have considerable impact on teaching, learning, and creative expression within higher education.The annual Horizon Report is a collaborative effort between the New Media Consortium (NMC) and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI).
The areas of emerging technology cited for 2011 are:
Time to adoption: One Year or Less
Time to adoption: Two to Three Years
Time to adoption: Four to Five Years
