16 September 2008In an opinion piece in The Canberra Times, Sam Roggeveen, editor of the Lowy Institute's blog, The Interpreter, argues that Australia does not need to react to what the Prime Minister wrongly called an 'explosion' in regional defence spending. In fact, a modest cut to our defence budget would help our regional diplomacy.
