Can home ownership work for Indigenous Australians living on communal title land?

26 November 2009If governments are interested in pursuing more demand driven approaches to housing in indigenous communities, policy-makers need better information about indigenous people's perceptions of home ownership.

The study examined the meaning of home ownership for Indigenous people through a survey of 86 Indigenous Australians in five study sites around Australia.

The Australian Indigenous Health Bulletin started life in April 1982 as a hard-copy publication. It is now a peer-reviewed electronic journal published by the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet.
