Evaluation of the whole of mental health, Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI)

21 March 2011This is the second of three reports in the longitudinal evaluation of the NSW Mental Health, Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI). The evaluation aims to understand how well the HASI program is working by investigating the effectiveness of support for consumers, the benefits and limitations of the service model(s), and the costs and benefits of the program. This report focuses on outcomes achieved by HASI consumers in regards to housing stability, mental and physical health, and social and community participation. The first report examined the operational effectiveness of the service delivery model (McDermott et al., 2010) and a final report with the full results from the evaluation will be produced in early 2011.
