However, income-based rents, poor security and stigma associated with public housing may present significant obstacles to working. This Research and Policy Bulletin provides details of the key findings and policy implications from the completed AHURI research project Public housing and employment: challenges and strategies.

The Productivity Commission has been asked to report within 8 months on Default Superannuation Funds in Modern Awards. The inquiry covers the design of criteria for the selection and ongoing assessment of superannuation funds for nomination as default funds in modern awards.
