01 November 2009eResearch opens the enormous potential of advanced computing and high-speed broadband networks to the practice of research.

On the 22 October 2009 more than 100 researchers from South Australia's three universities and independent research institutions attended 'Research 2.0: a roadmap for eResearch in South Australia' to explore its potential application to their research.

The lineup included:

• Alan Noble, Head of Google’s Research and Development Operations in Australia
• Dr Ross Wilkinson, Executive Director of the Australian National Data Service
• Professor Richard Maltby, School of Humanities, Flinders University
• Professor Dave Adelson, School of Molecular and Biomedical Science, University of Adelaide
• Professor Robyn McDermott, Division of Health Sciences, University of South Australia
• Dr Paul Coddington, Projects Manager, Australian Research Collaboration Service
