Today there are are close to 9 million Australians using the internet to buy goods and services and with over 4 million PayPal active consumer accounts, we play a critical role in enabling online commerce in Australia.  Mobile commerce has had a phenomenal impact on the way consumers and merchants are connecting. A new revenue stream for merchants, consumers can now shop and pay whether they are at home, work, on the bus, or in a shop, bringing online retail well and truly into the offline world.  A mix of new players, new business models and new technologies are changing the way consumers shop and pay.
