07 June 2010This research is investigating how social housing services are provided to Indigenous clients in urban and regional settings. The primary aim of the study is to better understand how to deliver housing services both to meet housing needs and to contribute to 'closing the gap' on Indigenous disadvantage, in ways that will be consistent with cultural values and Indigenous aspirations. Key themes concern the respective roles of mainstream and culturally specific housing services and how effectively these are integrated across the service system.
