30 September 2008"The word 'blog' doesn't really give one much of an idea about the content or nature of a given online site. In fact, author and freelance journalist, Margaret Simons, describes the term as 'manifestly inadequate', because it offers so little differentiation. She says there's now an urgent need for a new vocabulary for internet-based publications. And being no slouch herself, she's taken her own initial stab at drawing up a list of the different types of online sites that classify as blogs. She's come up with nine."

Women's Health Victoria (WHV) is a statewide women's health promotion, information and advocacy organisation, working with policy makers and health professionals to influence and inform health policy and service delivery.

The online survey is open to anyone who has used WHV's services, resources, or websites in the past 12 months. It covers: WHV publications, professional training, The Index database of gendered statistics, WHV Clearinghouse, BreaCan Service (supporting people diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer), capacity building, member services, and more.
