To their credit: evaluating and experiment with personal loans for people on low incomes

08 June 2006This study of the BSL and Community Sector Banking’s personal loan pilot, which provided small loans to purchase household goods and services, points to the creditworthiness of a group of people on low incomes. The report recommends that the private sector, community organisations and government should work together to improve access to mainstream credit for people on low incomes.
