The News and Media Research Centre (N&MRC) investigates the evolution of media, content and communication and the impact of online and mobile systems. N&MRC includes eleven academic staff and twelve PhD students. The high quality of communication and media research at University of Canberra was ranked at world standard by the most recent Excellence in Research for Australia evaluation. Our team leads both critical and applied studies with partners and institutions in Australia and internationally. We welcome enquiries regarding industry research collaborations, and from prospective PhD and Honours students.
