Fundraising for the arts

16 August 2009Does the private sector have a social responsibility to donate to the arts? Michael Lynch certainly thinks so. He's run some of the most important arts organisations in Australia and the UK, including the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Theatre Company.

Here, delivering a Currency House Arts and Public Life lecture at the Sydney Opera House, he describes the efforts required to raise the money for a major refurbishment of London's Southbank Centre, where he was chief executive until recently.

The online survey is open to anyone who has used WHV's services, resources, or websites in the past 12 months. It covers: WHV publications, professional training, The Index database of gendered statistics, WHV Clearinghouse, BreaCan Service (supporting people diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer), capacity building, member services, and more.
