Held on 10 May 2010 at the Museum of Sydney, this public forum discussed issues in the review of the commercial radio standards and key issues in the review.
Penelists: Angela Clark, Peter FitzSimons, Steve Ahern, Gawen Rudder, Andrew Condon, Jane Caro, Catharine Lumby, Lesley Hitchens and Michael Fraser.
Philip Clark, broadcaster and journalist, facilitated a discussion of the questions and evidence set out in the issues paper that has been released for public comment. There was a wide-ranging discussion with a panel of representative stakeholders and experts. The panel discussed industry and community views on key issues in the review, including the need for regulation, the scope of any regulation and how any regulation should be put into operation.
