12 July 2011The Australian government has announced the comittee conducting the 2011-12 Regional Telecommunications Review. In its review of telecommunications services in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia, the committee will have particular regard for initiatives that enable regional communities to participate in, and realise the opportunities of, the digital economy. The committee conducting the review is chaired by Ms Rosemary Sinclair, with Mr Warren McLachlan, Mr Robin Eckermann, Ms Heron Loban, Mr Alun Davies and the Hon. Kim Chance.

The committee will review telecommunications services in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia with particular regard to initiatives that will enable regional communities to participate in, and realise the opportunities of, the digital economy.
