Ethics Advisory Service

11 September 2009The Ethics Advisory Service is designed for Australian Public Service (APS) employees who want advice on ethical issues in the workplace and on how to make sound decisions around these issues.

The site provides guidance on how to apply the APS Values and Code of Conduct and strategies and techniques for ethical decision-making in the APS.

On 18 November 2011, Parliamentary Secretary for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, Senator the Hon Kate Lundy, announced the establishment of an independent panel of eminent community leaders to conduct an inquiry into Australian Government services to ensure they are responsive to the needs of Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
