Older and online

20 September 2010Older and Online, a National Seniors Productive Ageing Forum, was held on Wednesday 31st March, 2010, in Launceston, Tasmania. The aim was to help older Australians find out about the benefits of being online in later life (even without a computer!), the latest research on social networking for older adults, learning online through U3A, and the latest advances in e-health.  More than 100 people attended the event in Launceston and approximately 80 watched online as the presentations were streamed live to the web.

So that older adults can continue to reap the benefits of the forum, the presentations have been recorded and can be viewed online by clicking the Play button on the videos below.  You can also scroll down to the bottom of the page to find useful links for improving your online experience!
