Evidence and Implementation Summit (EIS) 2021

Sydney and Online
Bringing together evidence, implementation, policy, and politics: Towards a better future for all

The Evidence and Implementation Summit 2021 is one of the leading evidence and implementation sector events on the global calendar. The focus of the Summit is on the intersection of research, policy and practice. The goal is to share advances in the fields of evidence synthesis and translation, evaluation and implementation science, and to debate their impact on policies and programs and their capacity to change the lives of people and communities for the better. In 2021 the Summit will be a hybrid event, with full online and in-person programs bringing together a wide network of global contributors and registrants, regardless of location.

EIS 2021 will be one event with two experiences. Our program is evolving weekly.

The abstract submission period has been extended to accommodate this approach and we encourage submissions regardless of geography.

If your abstract is selected, your contribution will be available to both the in-person Sydney audience and to the vibrant and diverse global network of Summit attendees participating online. Now is the time to submit your abstract and secure your registration. Do so knowing that wherever you are in the world, an opportunity to present, learn, participate and contribute will be available.

The Evidence and Implementation Summit is an evolution of the Australian Implementation Conference and the Global Evidence and Implementation Summit that was held in 2018. EIS 2021 will mark 12 years since the creation of the event series.

Who will attend?

We anticipate local and global policy makers, practitioners, organisational leaders, researchers, implementation scientists, intermediaries and funders will attend online and in person, and build upon the success of previous conferences in advancing the evidence and implementation movement. Expect to come away with new perspectives, contacts and tools with which to approach your research, policy and practice challenges.

This year Centre for Evidence and Implementation will host the event alongside Monash University.
