The HCCC is looking for a paralegal to join our Legal Services Division. This is a specialist team that prosecutes serious complaints against health care practitioners and conducts related reinstatement and appeal proceedings.

To be eligible for this role, you will be undertaking or have completed tertiary legal/paralegal studies or have previous relevant experience. You will deliver work of a high quality within the timeframes imposed by the Tribunals or the solicitors you are supporting. You will be focussed on detail and proficient in all aspects of the preparation of legal matters, including conducting research. You will utilise technology efficiently and you will be able to prioritise and resolve competing demands in consultation with your manager. Most importantly, you will work well as part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
