The debate around Australia Day continues to deepen but many of the most prominent opinions are coming from non-Indigenous Australians.

Indigenous Affairs minister Nigel Scullion has said it wasn't really an issue for many Aboriginal Australians.

Well to test if that's really the case, let's hear how two Indigenous women with opposing views on the issue have come to their position.

Carla McGrath is director of political lobby group GetUp! and a firm advocate of moving our national day from January the 26th.
