Nikolay Kozhanov

Description

Nikolay Kozhanov was the 2015 Academy Robert Bosch Fellow in the Russia and Eurasia Programme at Chatham House. He is currently a visiting lecturer in the political economy of the Middle East at the European University at St Petersburg.

He received a PhD in the economic security of the Middle East from St Petersburg State University in 2010. His research focuses on Russian policy in the Middle East and the Caspian region.

He has been a visiting fellow at a number of leading international think-tanks including the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the Carnegie Moscow Center.
