Description
Based on responses from 4,000 businesses, the survey found that 14% had experienced one or more computer security incidents in 2006-07.
The financial loss was estimated at between $595m and $649m. The results highlight the importance of partnerships between government and the private sector, as many security measures are provided by the private sector and detected incidents are generally handled internally. This survey provides the baseline data to review future trends in incidents and protection measures.
