This handbook is the main output from a project funded by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council investigating the reality of the 'net generation's' experiences and preferences in the use of technology. It involved an investigation into students' and teachers' use of new technologies and the development of eight case studies in which emerging technologies were implemented in learning settings across the participating universities.
