This is the second of a series of policy reports from the Creative Industries Federation.
The first focused on creative education and in this paper we turn our attention to the importance of public investment as part of the UK’s unique mixed economy in the creative industries. The creative industries in the UK are booming and an increasingly important part of the economy, with growth outgunning that in finance and insurance and employment up by 5 per cent between 2013 and 2014 against a 2.1 per cent UK average.
