Christine Gibson

Description

Christine has significant experience in conducting and managing research activities for a large child welfare agency. She has an extensive background working within various community legal centres and teaching socio-legal practice to Social Work students. Since joining the Australian Centre for Child Protection in 2007, Christine has contributed to a diverse range of projects. Recent research focuses on specialist homelessness services' responses to children, a group-work program for parents whose children have been removed into care and the development of child and family sensitive practice along with several evaluations.
