The programme’s objective is to promote public spaces as a keystone for sustainable cities to ensure a good quality of life for all. This is done through policy guides, capacity building, knowledge sharing, carrying out advocacy work and actual implementation. Together with local government and civil society partners, the programme has implemented more than 80 concrete public space upgrading projects selected through annual expressions of interests. %9 Report
