%X This annual report measures the degree of gender disparities in 144 countries, using the Global Gender Gap Index. Since 2015, 68 countries (out of 142 measured in both years) have increased their overall gender gap score, while 74 have seen it decrease. The report concludes that 2016 has been an ambiguous year for global gender parity, with uneven progress at best.
