%X Institutional racism is a major contributor to the health gap between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous Australians. This study describes the nature and management of institutional racism and considers recent changes in an Australian hospital and health service (HHS) to illustrate the potential for organisational transformation.
