Grattan Institute is offering a number of internship positions over the university winter break in 2019. All programs except Higher Education will host an intern. Grattan Institute's internships provide opportunities for tertiary students or recent graduates interested in public policy to develop their research skills and contribute to original work on some of Australia's most pressing policy issues.
- Demonstrated interest in Australian public policy
- Clear communication skills
- Have completed at least two years of an undergraduate degree
- Strong qualitative and/or quantitative research skills (social sciences, sciences, statistics, law, finance or economics) and familiarity with Excel.
Internships are on a voluntary basis and generally run for four to five weeks in the university winter holidays.
Exact dates and working hours are flexible to accommodate other commitments, and applicants able to intern at Grattan for an equivalent of four days or more a week (for a minimum commitment of twenty days) are encouraged to apply.
