Description
This paper describes ground-based thermal infrared (TIR) data collection and the development of a multivariate regression model to predict brightness surface temperature from thermal images.
The method described here enables city-wide mapping of non-complex facades and the generation of a georeferenced thermal product ready for conventional analysis in a GIS-based environment.
