The New Zealand Government is developing Industry Transformation Plans for key sectors. The initial priority sectors for these plans are agritech, digital technologies, food and beverage, and forestry and wood processing.

The plans will be sector-led and government supported. They will involve partnership between government, business, workers and Māori.  Each will be unique to its industry but will also build on existing work.

This document outlines the new strategic direction for industry policy and charts the challenges and opportunities the New Zealand economy is responding to.
