This compendium contains all Indigenous data contained in the Report on Government Services 2011.

It was compiled by the Steering Committee for the Review of Government Service Provision, for which the Productivity Commission supplies the Secretariat.

For a number of years, the Report on Government Services has devoted particular attention to mainstream services delivered to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The Compendium has made these data readily accessible in the one publication. This edition of the Compendium, like the 2011 Report, contains additional reporting in a number of areas, including Qualification Equivalents and low birth weight babies.

The Indigenous Compendium has been further developed this year, following completion of the alignment of the Report on Government Services 2011 with relevant indicators in the National Indigenous Reform Agreement.
