There's evidence the federal government's policy to turbo charge Indigenous businesses is being exploited by non-Indigenous Australians.

Known as "black cladding", an independent report shows non-Indigenous companies are inflating their indigenous shareholder base, or attempting to misrepresent themselves as Aboriginal businesses in a bid to win contracts.

PM has also been told the private sector is turning its back on many Indigenous businesses, even after they've proved their mettle by completing multi-million dollars contracts through the Government's Indigenous Procurement Policy, or IPP.

David Taylor spoke with Troy Rugless (Pacific Services CEO) and Stella de Cos (Indigenous Business Australia Director of Business Solutions).
