Report
Description

For more than three years, including over 100 strike days, the employees at Amazon continue to fight for a collective agreement. Although the labour dispute has still not been won, it exemplifies the struggle of employees in the low-wage sector against a global corporation.

This study explores the structures of the Amazon company and worker's experience of trade union resistance in Germany. The research is primarily based on a series of interviews conducted with Amazon strike activists which took place within trade union meetings as well as an Amazon event held by the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung in March 2016.
