This draft of the third Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Strategy was released on 26 September 2022. The Tasmanian Department of Health is seeking feedback from the Tasmanian community on this draft. Community feedback will inform the development of the final strategy.

This draft strategy has been developed to build on the Tasmanian government's previous approach and draw together the best available evidence with the strengths and resources of the Tasmanian community. It connects with national and state reforms in mental health and suicide prevention to deliver a coordinated response that brings together all agencies, services and communities.
